Do your trackers wait for your cookie banner?
We open your page in a real browser as a new visitor who hasn't clicked anything, then show what already loaded: trackers, cookies and visitor IDs. It's a report of what we saw, not legal advice.

What it checks
What you get from the cookie banner checker
Trackers and ad tools
Google Analytics, Meta, TikTok, Clarity, Hotjar and others, named, with what each one does.
More than a list of names
Home made statistics count too: we spot an ID leaving the browser, even to the site's own server.
Cookies and browser storage
What was set before anyone chose, including storage that basic scanners skip.
Your banner
Whether one appeared, and whether we could see a way to say no as well as yes.
Nothing gets clicked
We don't press accept or reject, so this is only what happens before a choice.
Plain answers
What loaded, and what to do about it. We report what we saw, and never call a site illegal.
FAQ
Questions, answered
- Does my site need a cookie banner?
- If you use cookies or browser storage that aren't needed for the site to work, such as analytics or ads, and you have visitors in the EU or UK, usually yes. If you only use what the site needs to work, usually not. This is general information, not legal advice.
- Do I need a cookie banner for Google Analytics?
- With visitors in the EU or UK, usually yes, because its cookies aren't needed for your site to work, so people should be asked first. Google's consent mode changes what gets sent when someone says no, and this checker shows when it's on. This is general information, not legal advice.
- How is this different from a cookie scanner?
- A cookie scanner lists cookies. This also shows the tracking tools that loaded, visitor IDs kept in browser storage, and whether a banner appeared with a way to say no, all before anyone has made a choice.
- How do I test whether my cookie banner blocks trackers?
- Enter your page above. We visit as someone who hasn't clicked anything. If a tracker shows up here, it isn't waiting for your banner, so hold it back in your banner tool or tag manager until a visitor accepts.
- Why does it say nothing loaded when I know I have a banner?
- Good news: that means your trackers are probably waiting for a yes. We only look at what happens before anyone chooses.
- Can it see everything?
- No. It's one visit to one page from one location. Sites can behave differently by country, some tools only run on certain pages, and cookies set by a server can't be seen from the page.
- Does this make my site legal?
- No tool can promise that. The rules depend on where your visitors are and what each tool does. Use this to find what to fix, and ask a lawyer about anything serious.
