Why it matters

One dead button can cost more than a hundred dead links.

Most link checkers give you a long list of every broken link, with no idea which ones matter. Purlock starts with your money paths: the buttons people press to sign up, buy, book or contact you. If one of those is broken, it's the first thing you see.

Each finding names the page, the button text and where it leads, with a fix you can paste into your AI tool or page editor.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Which links does it check?
Every link on up to 20 of your most important pages, buttons first. Your sign up, buy, book and contact buttons (your money paths) are checked even when they lead to another site, like a checkout or booking page.
What counts as broken?
A link that returns page not found (404 or 410), a server error (500 and up), or a button that points nowhere ("#" or a script link). Pages that only block bots (401, 403, 429) aren't reported as broken, because real visitors usually get through.
Will it find pages that used to exist?
On a monitored site, yes: if your pricing, contact, sign up or policy page worked in an earlier check and now returns not found, you get an alert the same day.
Does it slow my site down?
No. It sends a light request for each link, a few at a time, and respects your robots.txt.
